FEATURE FRIDAY – VEGAN DOUBLE CHOC MINT THICKSHAKE

This double choc mint treat is far healthier (and we’d even say more fun) than a bottle of wine to share with a friend on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Just think liquid after-dinner mints with a seriously healthy vegan twist…

VEGAN DOUBLE CHOC MINT THICKSHAKE

SERVES 2  –  GF, DF, SF, V, P  –  5 minutes

2 frozen bananas

2 tablespoon of cacao

1 scoop vegan chocolate protein powder (optional)

2 cups coconut or almond milk

4 drops natural peppermint extract

4 medjool dates or 2 tablespoon maple syrup

 

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Throw all of the ingredients into a high speed blender, then blend until you a get a thick, creamy consistency.
  2. Pour into two glass jars, then get ready to be whisked away to chocolate treat heaven!
