A NEW YEAR; THE SWEET ’16

I cannot believe it is actually January and the start of a new year! 2015 absolutely flew by for me (and I am assuming the majority of you as well) but what a year it was. Every year I say “oh best year yet for sure” which gets me thinking how insanely awesome my life will be when I am 80 if this best yet status keeps up. Life honestly couldn’t get much better than it is right now. Sure there are the ‘minor’ things that could change or need a little tweaking but I am Healthy, Happy and Having a blast! The three H’s! SPEAR A HANGOVER

If there is one thing that I truly hate… it is being hungover. I used to be the type of girl who could chug vodka from a bottle (yes i have a dark side buried deep below the surface from my younger years – don’t we all?) and I would NEVER get hungover or be sick the next day. Probably because I regrettably vomited it all out that night, but anyway… and then things changed as I got older and BOOM. DRINK YOUR WATER

Why is it that something as simple as drinking water can be so difficult to remember? If I don’t have my water bottle on me and am consciously making an effort to drink water, then I will get to the end of the day without even a drip. Of course there is water in my daily coffee or two and 6 cups of tea BUT this does NOT count! Nope not even in the slightest. And before your clever little Melbourne Cup brain thought that having a few vodka lime and soda WATERS yesterday also counted – you are wrong!! THE HAIRY TRUTH

So for those who know me well, know that I somewhat skimped out on the ‘growing hair’ part of the pregnancy whilst I was being created. AND you would also know that I twizzle my hair very rapidly when it is either washed and straight (who doesn’t love playing with fresh silky hair?) or in the evenings when I am exhausted (like pretty much every night).
